The Plan is a form of group insurance originated by Dewar to give parents the opportunity to protect their investment in education by refunding a portion of the unused annual tuition and insured fees lost because of a covered medical absence or withdrawal, non-medical withdrawal, or dismissal.
All families enter a contract with a school whereby they are financially obligated to pay the full annual tuition for their child to attend the school, regardless of withdrawal for any reason. The Tuition Refund Plan provides exceptional coverage and peace of mind for families who cannot or do not wish to be exposed to the possible loss of thousands of dollars in tuition charges.
The cost varies from school to school. Rates are based individually and are dependent on specific factors at the school.

Tuition, room and meal costs (where applicable) are covered subject to limitations of the policy. A participating school may also cover the tuition deposit and any scholarship. Please check with the participating school to find what specific fees are covered.
